Черно-белая карикатура изображает руины жилого дома, рядом с которым валяется покореженный автомобиль. Подпись к рисунку гласит: «Землетрясение в Турции. Даже танки посылать не надо».

Поклонники издания пришли к выводу, что карикатура является пацифистской и несет следующий посыл: глупо воевать, когда и без вооруженных конфликтов над человечеством всегда нависает угроза. Однако публикация стала скандальной. Многие пользователи соцсетей сочли, что так французские карикатуристы намекнули на политические противоречия Европы и Турции. Согласно одному из мнений, французское издание хотело посмеяться над турками — якобы против них даже природа.

Намек на политику заметили и некоторые украинские пользователи и СМИ. Они сочли, что фраза про «отправку танков» намекает на военные поставки западных стран для ВСУ, а изображение руин — на ситуацию в украинских городах.

В небе над местами сейсмической активности иногда появляются яркие огни, похожие на полярное сияние. Полноценно объяснить природу этого феномена ученые пока не могут. Ночью, во время пика землетрясения магнитудой 7,8, которое недавно произошло в Новой Зеландии, люди увидели на небе яркие вспышки. Преобладали в основном зеленые, голубые и белые цвета, но были желтые и другие оттенки. Первой версией стал взрыв трансформаторов на линиях электропередачи из-за землетрясения, но анализ нескольких сделанных видеозаписей показал, что всполохи появились в небе над участком, где нет энергосетей. Не было в той местности и гроз. Специалисты объяснили, что люди стали свидетелями так называемых «огней землетрясения». Это явление науке известно, но точная причина его появления пока не выяснена.

С 1600 года насчитывается 65 доказанных примеров свечения неба в районах сейсмической активности. Никакой системы при этом нет: так, в 1906 году огни, похожие на радугу, были замечены накануне великого землетрясения в Сан-Франциско в ста километрах от города. Разрушительное землетрясение 2009 года в итальянском городе Л’Акуила сопровождалось длительными пламенными всполохами на небе, а в 2008 году в Китае свечение было замечено за полчаса до начала землетрясения и на расстоянии 450 км от эпицентра. Одна из теорий связывает это явление с локальными изменениями магнитного поля Земли или ионосферы в районе тектонического напряжения. Другие ученые считают, что сейсмические сдвиги приводят к кристаллическим дефектам определенных горных пород, например базальта, которые в результате выпускают электрические заряды. Доказать ни одну из версий не удалось; известно лишь, что наблюдать огни можно не чаще, чем в 0,5% случаев от всех землетрясений.

МЧС России завершает спасательные работы в Турции и Сирии⁠

В пресс-службе МЧС Кыргызстана «Клоопу» рассказали, что кыргызские спасатели с момента приезда в Турцию работали только под командованием AFAD (Управления по ликвидации последствий ЧС в Турции). По данным пресс-службы, с российскими спасателями кыргызская команда работала в первые дни после приезда в Турцию, где также были и спасатели из других стран.

«В Турции есть свой Департамент Управления по чрезвычайным ситуациям — AFAD. Только под их управлением проводятся все спасательные работы на выделенных объектах. В какой-то день наши спасатели из Кыргызстана работали вместе с группой российских», — сообщили в МЧС Кыргызстана.
